Why I didn't pass the English test

I didn't pass the english test because I didn't learn all the material. On Saturday, I relaxed at home and learned some english material, but after that I fell asleep and woke up the next morning.

The next day, I learned a lesson after the english language, but I didn't continue to learn more english material.

When I was doing the test, I felt less prepared and ultimately couldn't do a few questions so I got low grades.

SYNOPSIS KARATE KID

12-year-old Dre Parker and his mother Sherry move to Beijing after she gets a job transfer. Dre meet a young violinist, Mei Ying, who reciprocates his attention, but Cheng,
a rebellious kung fu prodigy whose family is close to Mei Ying's, attempts to keep them apart by beating Dre, and later bullies him at school. During the attack, the enigmatic maintenance man of Dre's building, Mr. Han, comes to Dre's aid, revealing himself as a kung fu master who dispatches Dre's tormentors. Dre asks if Mr. Han could teach him kung fu. Han refuses, but meets Cheng's teacher, Master Li.

Li, who teaches his students to show no mercy to their enemies, challenges Dre to a fight with Cheng. When Han declines, Li says they will not be allowed to leave his school unless Dre or Han fights. Han acquiesces, but insists the fight take place at an upcoming tournament. Han promises to teach Dre "real" kung fu. Han begins training Dre, but Dre is frustrated that Han merely has him spend hours taking off his jacket, hanging it up, dropping it and putting it on again. Han emphasizes that the movements Dre is learning apply to life in general, and that serenity and maturity, not punches and power, are the true keys to mastering the martial arts.

As Dre's friendship with Mei Ying continues, Dre persuades Mei Ying to cut school for a day of fun, but when she is nearly late for her violin audition which was brought forward a day without their knowledge, her parents deem him a bad influence and forbid her from spending more time with him. Dre then works harder than ever to master kung fu. Han assists Dre in reading a note of apology to Mei Ying's father in Chinese ; he accepts and promises that Mei Ying will attend the tournament to support Dre. In the tournament Dre comes up against Liang, another of Li's students, who is instructed by Li to injure Dre's leg. Although Liang is disqualified for his illegal strikes and insubordination, Dre is badly injured.

Despite Han's insistence that he has earned respect for his performance, Dre convinces Han to mend his leg by using fire cupping in order to continue. Dre returns to the arena, facing Cheng. Cheng charges Dre, but Dre flips and catches Cheng with a kick to his head, winning the tournament along with the respect of Cheng and his classmates. Cheng instead of the presenter awards Dre the trophy, and the Fighting Dragon students bow to Mr. Han.

Karate Kid

The film is about a kid named Dre Parker, whose mother had been transfered to China to work there. In China, Dre learned about Kungfu, and mostly the importance of friendship. He joined an open Kungfu Tournament, and he beated his rivals, 5 boys who always annoy him anywhere they meet.

What we can learn from the film?
We can learn that life can knock us down, but we can choose whether to get back up or not.

When Cheng and his friends beating Dre, Mr. Han,a technician, comes to them and defend Dre. Dre realized that Mr. Han is a kungfu master. After Mr. Han heals Dre's injuries using China's traditional healing technique, they go to Cheng's teacher, Master Li, to make peace, but the brutal teacher (Master Li), challenges Dre to fight with Cheng. When Mr. Han declines, Li says that they're not allowed to leave him unless Dre or Mr. Han fights. Mr. Han doesn't want to fight, but then he says that Dre will fight at an tounament, and Master Li's students have to leave Dre alone until the tournament. Master Li agrees. Han begins training Dre, but Dre is tired that Mr. Han always command Dre to taking off his jacket, hanging it up, dropping it, and then putting it on again. Dre refuses to continue, until Mr. Han shows him that the arm movements are Mr. Han's method of teaching Dre. Dre is now able to do the basic technique of kungfu. Mr. Han teaches Dre that kungfu is for helping people,not to find pleasure. After that, Dre takes Mei Ying going out to have some fun, and it makes Mei Ying late for her violin recital. Because of it, Mei Ying's parents forbid her to spending time with Dre anymore. Then, Mr. Han commands Dre to reading a note in Chinese, to apologize to Mei Ying's father. Mei Ying's father finally allows Mei to attend the tournament. At the tournament, when Dre beats Liang, Liang breaks Dre's leg. Dre asks Mr.Han to use his China's traditional healing technique to heal his leg, to complete the tournament. Dre returns to the arena, where he beats Cheng. Cheng hurts Dre's injured leg. Dre tries to get up, and he finally get up. Dre kicks Cheng's head, and winning the tournament. Cheng and his friends finally respecting Mr. Han.

What can I learn from the story is : Never give up on anything and never use your power to find pleasure.

But Cheng, a rebellious kung fu prodigy whose family is close to Mei Ying's, attempted to keep them apart by beating Dre, and later bullied him at school with his friends.

One day, Mr. Han helped Dre when he was going to be beaten by Cheng and his friends. After that, Dre asked if Mr. Han could teach him kung fu.

Han began to train Dre, but Dre was frustated that Han merely has him spend hours taking off his jacket, hanging it up, dropping it and putting it on again.

Since practicing kung fu in earnest, Dre was ready to defeat Cheng in kung fu tournament. And after passing through various obstacles, finally Dre won the tournament and made Cheng amazed.

What can we learn:

1. A true friend is somebody who makes your life better.
2. We must strive to achieve something we want.
3. All things exist the process, can't be done quickly.

                    Karate Kid movie is tells us about an american - boy named Dre Parker who moved to Beijing with his mom. He is 12 year old. Dre moved  to Beijing after his mom got a job transfer. Dre in love with a young violinist, she is Mei Ying. Because of that, Cheng was get jealous with Dre. But, Cheng attempts to keep them apart by beating Dre.

                    Then, Dre Parker met Mr. Han, who helped him from Cheng's attack. Dre asked Mr. Han to teach him Kung Fu. Mr. Han refuses, but he met Cheng's teacher named Master Li. Li would to challenges Dre to fight with Cheng. Mr. Han taught Dre a real Kung Fu. Finally, Dre won the tournament. Master Li's student, especially Cheng appreciated that and bow to Mr. Han.

From this story, you can learn that nothing is impossible. If you have not get your dream, don't give up! Always try, try and try until your dream comes true.

THE BAG

About a year ago, i was practicing in the football academy. Suddenly i saw a familliar face, then i realized that he is barcelona’s midfielder Xavi hernandez. He come to the academy to check out the young player who deserve to play for barcelona. I felt quite good at that moment, but just in that moment he left. I was very dissapointed because i can’t show him the quality that i have.

Just by that i missed the chance to play for barcelona. I was walked in the street near the academy, than i saw a bag lying down on the ground. I realized that is a footbal bag, when i opened the bag there is a barcelona jersey and a pair of shoes. I looked the jersey and it has a number, the number was 8. I immediately know that this bag belong to Xavi. At that moment i didn’t know what to do. I know that barcelona will play agains Real madrid this afternoon.

Finally i decided to go to camp nou and deliver this bag to Xavi. The game start in an hour, from the academy to camp nou takes 45 minutes. So, I run toward the bus station to catch the next bus to camp nou. I waited 5 minutes in the bus station, then i hop on to the bus and sits uneasely. After 45 minutes in the bus, i finally arrived at the camp nou. The game start in 10 minutes, the guard won’t let me in because i don’t have a tickets. I keep telling them that this is Xavi’s bag.

Fortunately i met my coach in the academy who want to see barcelona’s game. They finally let me in, after that i sprinted toward the locker room to find Xavi. Finally i got to the locker room in time. The barcelona’s squad was very suprised because of me. Then Xavi recognized me and he said “what are you doing here, kid ?”. i gave the bag to Xavi and he said thank you. Because of me Xavi can play and barcelona won.

After the game, Xavi and his friend talk to me and said that he is watching me this whole time. I was honored to be praised by Xavi, then he said “ how would you like to play for barcelona, kid”. I was very suprised to hear that, then xavi take me to the manager office and recommended me to play fo barcelona. After that i was told to go home and wait for the info tomorrow. The next day i was called to camp nou after practicing in the academy, Xavi and the manager immediatly come to me and say “ what’s your name, kid ?”. i said “Wildan, sir”.

“Wildan heh, from this day on you will be playing for barcelona.” said Xavi. “really, i got to play for barcelona.” I said. The manager show me the contract to play for barcelona and then he said “sign here and you will be playing for barcelona” i signed the contract and from that moment i begin to play for barcelona, and i happy about it even if i just being played in a small fixtures. 

    

The Lost Kitten

About two years ago, while I was watching tv, suddenly my father notified that his close friend died. Therefore, we went to Jogja immediately. We slept over in my uncle’s house, which had a big garden at the back side of the house.

 

While I was walking on the garden, suddenly I heard sound of kitten. I looked for it everywhere, but I couldn't find it. I walked to my cousin’s house dissapointedly. My cousin said to wait until the morning, so we could find it easily.

 

At night, I heard the sound anymore. I looked for it, and fortunately, I found it! I saw three kitten that couldn’t see yet. But I didn’t see their mother. Maybe that was the reason they became noisy. They walked, tried to look for their mom difficultly.

 

Then, I looked for their mother. But, unfortunately, I couldn’t find their mother. So, I just kept the kitten in my cousin’s house. After I went home, my cousin told me that she found the kitten’s mother. Their mother hugged the kitten happily.

  Who's Lost a Cell Phone Charger??

  About a months ago, I was in the classroom to get ready to go home. Felt there's nothing left, I immediately left the school

  Arrived at home, I'm doing homework and soon fell asleep. When I woke up from my sleep, first, I was looking for my cellphone charger. But I can't found it anywhere!

  Then, I also suspect a lot of people that I think took my cellphone charger.

  The next day, my class at school happened to got an empty school hours. I was listening to the song, instantly jumped when a friend asked "Who's lost a cell phone charger??"

  After making sure that the charger is mine, my friend said she found it in my classroom lockers.

  I was glad, my cellphone charger which I thought missing, finally I found. By the way, thank you to whoever that keep it in my locker!

The Brown Wallet

Three days ago, I was on my way back to my house from the supermarket. I'd just bought some snacks for the weekend.

Suddenly, I found a brown wallet in front of my foot. I looked at it, and then I opened it. There were money and a few cards inside it. I took a card, and I saw a picture of an old woman, and I thought that it was the picture of the owner of the wallet. So, I decided to bring it back to the owner.

On the card, it was written that the address of the owner is at Pegangsaan Street number 12. First, I went there by taxi. I almost got lost on the way, but finally I arrived there.

When I knocked on the door, no one answered. I thought there was nobody home, but fortunately someone opened the door, an old woman, and she looked like the woman in the picture I saw. So, I gave the wallet to her. She was very happy!

The next day, she took me and my family to a restaurant to have lunch. When I arrived there, there were many other old women in the restaurant. Then, I realized that they were all veterans, and they were there to celebrate Kartini's Day, and I was very happy that I could join them!

Who Stole My Baseball Card ?

Hi, my name is Joe. I have a dog named Ruby. I like sport. Especially, I like to play soccer and baseball with my friends. But, I love to play baseball. Baseball is my favorite sport! At school, I join in Baseball Club. And last year, my team won a trophy! Baseball is never boring to me. When I'm not playing baseball, I like to collect the baseball players cards. From that card, I know everything about baseball players. I thought, collecting baseball cards is easy and fun.

About a month ago, I was walking alone on the field near my house. I want to play baseball, but nobody was in there. I guessed, my friends were in holiday with their family. So, I decided to sat on the field.

When I was sitting alone, suddenly a boy came close to me. First, he introduced his name to me. He is Rick, and he loves playing baseball too. We played baseball together until evening. At 5.00 pm, I decided to went home. Rick had gave new baseball cards to me before I went home. I was really happy!

At night, I was putting my newest baseball cards in my album book. I saw that some of my old cards weren't there. It was strange. I looked surrounding my bedroom, but I didn't find them. I felt awful.

Then, last night, I saw my dog went to the yard. I ran out to look. Finally I saw them, my baseball cards were behind the big rock! I was happy too see my cards. I think my dog likes collecting baseball cards too!

Vanissa's Intelligence

Basically, I’ve got good ‘verbal intelligence’ because I really enjoying reading and writing, for example, I like stringing words, make a quote and I love writing stories. Well, at school my best subjects are Sports and Art. I’m quite good at swimming and I like drawing, so essentially I’ve got good ‘body and visual intelligence’, too.

I’m really not very good at maths because it’s too difficult to solve maths problems. Sometimes, maths is fun though more often unpleasant. I often get a bad grade, but it matter because I can get good grades in other subjects.

When I finish school, I’d like to be a doctor. Although my goals aren’t supported by my ability, I believed I can achieve my dreams if I’m serious from now.  Also I think that a doctor shouldn’t always understand the maths subject, right?

Wildan's Intelligence

Obviously I’ve got good body intelligence because I’m quiet good at football, and I love drawing as well. I usually draw a manga, because it’s unique. I’ve drawn a lot of good picture, but only some of them that I saved because I always forget where I put it.

I’m glad that my teacher gave me a drawing task, I enjoy making it. So I think I’ve got some good visual intelligence as well. My worst subject in school is history, because it’s hard to memorise all the historical event in my head.

But, I still have an interest of historical artefak. Like a sword used by a Samurai from Japan or a Riffle from America.

When I graduate from collage I want to be a professional football player like Xavi Hernander. If I were good enough I want to play in F.C Barcelona. With my body intelligence, I’m sure I can make it.

I think I’ve got good verbal intelligence, because I’m good at languages, and I love to read novels. Although I haven’t won any English competition, I love to learn English.  At school,  I think I’m good a sports and biology. I like to play baseball and basketball. Also, researching plants or any living organisms always interests me.

I’m not very good at solving maths problems and playing music instruments. Everytime I got difficult question in maths, I have to ask my parents or my friends-especially in homeworks. I can’t understand musical notes, so I can’t play any music instruments except pianika and recorder.

When I graduate from the university, I want to be an ambassador from Indonesia, so I can work overseas, and I can visit several countries. I want to go to other countries because I want to learn their culture and habits.

Mayang's Intelligence

At school, I think I have got good “Logical-mathematical Intelligence” because I am quite good at maths.  Sometimes, I got excellent score in my maths examinations. In the weekend, I usually go to swimming with my sister. I really enjoy swimming, so perhaps I have quite good in body intelligence.

However, I am not good at verbal intelligence. It’s difficult for me to memories new words. I am also not good to be a speakers. But, I try to be the best.

I think I’m good at mathematic, because I enjoy doing maths problems.  Math is one of my favourite subject in the class. But, I’m not good to be a speakers too. Because for me, it’s hard to arrange the words.  Especially, if I found a new words.

When I finish my school, I would like to study in a university. I want to be an architect, because I’m good at maths. I wish in the future, I can build the biggest tower in thw world!

Annissa's Intelligence

I like writing and speaking, so I think I’ve got good verbal intelligence. At school, my favourite subjects are English and Maths. I like watching a fiction movie or reading a fiction story, because they give me imagination and inspiration. I’m pretty good at painting, so I think I’ve got good visual intelligence too.

Some people think I’ve got good logical-mathematical intelligence, but I’m not really good at Math. I enjoy doing Maths problem, but sometimes I can’t solve it by myself. I often get bad marks at Math, but I tried to fix my logical-mathematical intelligence.

When I finish my school. I’d like to be a Doctor. I don’t think I’ve got good intelligence to be a Doctor, I’ll practice it more and more.  My father said, a Doctor use Math sometimes. I’ll try to study Math more, but I think Science is more important to study than Math to be a  professional Doctor.
